Unveiled at a beautiful media launch on June 5, this new initiative marks an inspiring chapter for NESCAFÉ, inviting everyone to experience a cup of perspective.
The NESCAFÉ Room offers a sensorial journey where visitors can discover the Strong Yet Smooth taste of NESCAFÉ Classic, enjoy a deliciously creamy cup of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino, and experience the luxury of NESCAFÉ Gold.

Immerse yourself in the entire Classic range, from the rich and full-bodied NESCAFÉ Classic to the rich and robust NESCAFÉ Classic Black Roast. Enjoy the Strong yet Smooth Bar with baristas ready to serve your perfect cup, capture moments at the Reflective Seat Photo Opportunity, and explore the Perspective Shifter Wall. As you move past the wall, the word NESCAFÉ gradually becomes clearer on the wall, symbolizing how changing your perspective can reveal new insights and a deeper appreciation of small but impactful everyday moments.
The NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Zone
Enjoy the Everyday Breakaway, an escape-inspired space featuring calming textures and soothing lighting. This zone offers a serene environment perfect for taking a moment’s pause from the hustle and bustle. Additionally, the VR Experience allows guests to immerse themselves in a virtual reality journey, enhancing their enjoyment of every foamy sip of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino. This innovative experience combines the physical pleasure of drinking a rich, creamy cappuccino while engaging in the zone with an opportunity for a visually and mentally stimulating escape, making each cup a satisfying break from reality. NESCAFÉ Gold Zone

Here, you can learn about the sustainable journey of this variant, including how its glass bottles can be recycled and repurposed. The Think Green Room focuses on the recyclable bottle, showcasing the brand’s commitment to eco-friendly practices. Both the jars and lids are 100% recyclable. So, whether you use them for crafting or storage, there’s so much potential in every empty jar. Expertly roasted and carefully crafted, NESCAFÉ Gold offers a rich, smooth taste. As you explore this space, savour your coffee while appreciating the brand’s efforts to make a positive impact on the environment.
One of the highlights of the curated space is the unique opportunity for visitors to personalize their iconic red NESCAFÉ mug. Guests can have their name engraved on a mug, creating a lasting keepsake of their experience. This interactive element adds a personal touch and allows visitors to carry a piece of the NESCAFÉ Room, making their coffee moments even more memorable and unique. The red NESCAFÉ mug is redeemable with proof of purchase of any participating jar or box of NESCAFÉ.
Guests at the media launch were treated to a culinary experience curated by award-winning food personality Vicky Crease. The menu was meticulously designed to complement NESCAFÉ’s diverse coffee varieties, creating an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Each bite and sip embodied the essence of NESCAFÉ’s rich heritage and innovative spirit.
Attendees, including notable personalities such as actress Linda Mtoba, Big Brother Star Lerato Modise, TV and Radio presenter Nomalanga Shozi and national sport stars Cheslin Kolbe & Makazole Mapimpi who mingled and engaged with the space, savouring delectable drinks and personalized touches that made the event truly special.
The NESCAFÉ Room is open to the public until June 30, 2024, at Sandton City, Checkers Centre Court. Visitors are encouraged to explore, taste, and enjoy the various NESCAFÉ offerings, engaging their senses and finding perspective with every cup.
