Beaujolais Nouveau Festival
Every third Thursday in November is a reason you did not know you should be celebrating. Beaujolais Nouveau is celebrated every year to mark the day when bottles of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau wine hit the shelves. Beaujolais Nouveau Day is one of the best-known cultural festivals in France with over 120 related events in the Beaujolais region and across the world.
This year, French Corner has partnered with Nirox Sculpture Park to create the Beaujolais Nouveau celebration. The Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is the most popular wine fermented for just a few weeks before being released for sale on the thirst Thursday of November, every year.
This first edition at Nirox will be memorably infused with an African twist from the curated menu to artists from Cameroun and West Africa. Join us for a proudly African celebration of the International Beaujolais Nouveau wine, along with a boule tournament under the trees.
