Brace yourselves, the fourth season of Come Dine With Me South Africa arrives on your screens next Thursday, 15 February at 20:00 on DSTV channel 120 (BBC Brit).
Accompanied by Dave Lamb’s slightly spicy commentary, expect this season’s guests from Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town to bring a heap of flavour to your T.V. screens, all while trying to win the coveted R10 000 prize and title of the host with the most.
After a five year hiatus, fans can expect a 12 episode long season filled with uniquely South African meals, moments and perhaps even some memes. We know you guys love memes.
Joel Churcher, General Manager and Vice-President of BBC Worldwide Africa noted, the announcement of the fourth season was met with a lot of excitement by fans across the board. And it’s no surprise. To date, Come Dine With Me South Africa ranks in the top three highest rating titles across all BBC channels since 2011.
We had the exclusive privilege of watching the first episode and all we can say is YUUUUUUU! What an exciting, funny, relatable group of personalities that unmatched but a perfectly weird combination. Expect all the reactions and more.
Let’s meet the contestants…
CARMI VAN HEERDEN
Sassy, freaking crazy and she knows “white wine tastes like….white wine”!
.How do you want to be remembered on CDWM SA following your dinner party?
As the entertaining, crazy, fun, ‘anything goes’ Carmi
You can call him an expert diner
If you could invite a South African entertainer to perform at your dinner party – who would you invite?
Gerhard Steyn, Afrikaans singer, songwriter and guitarist– so we can make baby tjoklits together
Expect the unexpected! Oh and be kind with your criticism.
Worst CDWM nightmare?
Having a guest that drinks like a fish and
Corporate glam maven. She is legit.
What do you think makes you the ultimate host with the most?
My attention to detail is insane, so my dinner party will definitely be a fine dining experience.
